I thoroughly enjoyed my experience working with Caroline and Peter at the wildlife rescue assisting in looking after kangaroos, wombats, wallabies and their farm animals.Country
Australia was a great country to visit as we saw many parts of Sydney. We then visited Albury to then travel to Lankey's Creek. Whilst volunteering we were taken to many local small towns which were very unique.
Project & Staff
The wildlife rescue was a great place and had two lovely hosts. They were very friendly and made us feel welcome within the first day of being there. Looking after the animals was hard work but also entertaining and rewarding as the animals were great fun.
Tips
Remember to pack everything for all weathers as the forecast can change quickly. The time will go quickly so make the most of your trip and enjoy it.
