Excellent. The staff, school, other volunteers and children where amazing.Country
As long as you staying in "safe" areas and did not go out after dark, especially alone you would be fine. Maybe, my situation was different because of the timing of my volunteer trip. I just happened to be there right before their 5yrs elections and there was a lot of civil unrest. Things were very dangerous for all.
Project & Staff
Both the project and staff were amazing. Nothing more to say than that.
Tips
If you are not going there to work, don't bother going. This is not a vacation for you to go and take pictures with cute kids. You heart has to be into making a difference. This is not for you to impress your friends on Facebook that you are on some sort of adventure by showing them daily pictures of you holding one of the kids. There is much more to the program than that.
