One of the most exciting things about volunteering in another country is the cultural exchange that occurs every moment you are abroad.

I would like to thank to entire LV staff for being there for all of my questions and guiding me through the process before my placement in Nepal.

There will be days where you feel useless and like your work isn't helping, but remember that the people really do appreciate it!

As a volunteer you get to see a window into a culture and learn to adapt to the daily rhythm while adding a bit of yourself to that fabric.

I arrived with no clue what to expect and was quickly blown away. I felt welcome right away and Tirana is an absolutely amazing city.

I cannot wait to return to Cambodia, and in particular to return to the school and to my class.

We would definitely recommend visiting Uganda and working through Love Volunteers!

It was an experience I will never forget and hopefully again soon I can go back to visit such an amazing community.

The center for the abandoned was truly a welcoming place that provided so much for those who had so little.
