“The best part of the trip were the kids”

General Impression

Overall Rating:    7 / 10

I had a good time. The best part of the trip were the kids. It was truly a life-changing experience.

Country

Very different from my country, obviously. I had to adjust to many different things, but I really liked the people- they were very kind and helpful, and I also loved the rich culture which you could see everywhere around you.

Project & Staff

Our volunteer coordinator- Ashok, was great.
The monastery manager was nice and tried to help us the best he could, despite not speaking good english. Although, the plan there always changed last minute and a lot of our time was wasted, which could be improved next time.

Tips

Bring more than one towel if youre staying for more than two weeks, It is hard to wash them, they start to smell after some time.
