I had a wonderful experience and am very grateful to everyone who helped make it possible. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported by the local team. The placement felt authentic, and I appreciated the opportunity to experience daily life in the community while working with such enthusiastic students and dedicated teachers. It was not always easy, but that was part of what made the experience so meaningful. Laos surprised me in many ways. It is a beautiful country with warm, generous people and a fascinating culture. Beyond the temples, mountains, and landscapes, what I will remember most are the people. Life is not always easy here, and the challenges are visible, but so are the kindness, resilience, and sense of community. My time in Laos gave me a new perspective, and I am grateful for everything I learned during my stay.
Project & Staff
The project exceeded my expectations. I felt that my time and effort were appreciated, and I enjoyed working with the students very much. The staff were kind, dedicated, and incredibly supportive. They were always available when I had questions and made me feel welcome from day one. I am very grateful to have had the chance to work alongside such wonderful people.
