General Impression
Overall Rating: / 10
I have joined 9 international volunteering programs in the past. And I can tell you this program is highly recommended.Country
Uganda is not located along the sea. That's why people in Uganda is more polite than coastal countries such as Kenya or Tanzania. And, less developed.
Project & Staff
The project is so nice. There are many things which volunteers can do. Unfortunately, the hospital is overwhelmed by so many patients, especially pregnant women. So, volunteers can help patients in many departments.
As for host family, they are so kind and nice. In a night, a bushbaby (a small local mammal) cried during a night, they went out of the house to check. Also, when brown out, they helped me to charge my phone. They are like a family.

Tips
You'll experience the typical life in developing countries, such as no hot shower, bike taxi, brownout etc. And you'll experience so many realities in the hospital.
In some organizations, you may stay in a richer accomodations and experience poor & less activities, which is just a waste of time.
I definitely recommend you to join this program.
