Program overview

Love Volunteers, along with our partner in Zambia, arranges volunteering positions in orphanages, schools, hospitals and community health clinics. Zambia volunteer programs are located in Livingstone, which is convenient for trips to the Victoria Falls.

During their placement volunteers make a valuable contribution assisting at local community projects. Our partner works very closely with disadvantaged communities, projects and institution. With the help of volunteers we hope to make a difference in the lives of many Zambian families and communities in need.

Zambia is one of Africa’s smaller countries, sitting in the south of the continent. It is landlocked and borders Tanzania, Malawi, Zimbabwe and Angola. More than seventy tribes live within its borders. As a peaceful country, heavily dependent on tourism, Zambia is a very enjoyable place to visit and offers some superb adventure activities.

The challenge of volunteering in Zambia is one which brings intense rewards. Volunteers are able to make a genuine difference by offering valuable support to those in need. The unique programs being run in Zambia combine volunteering abroad, cultural activities, and cultural awareness programs. These are sure to provide you with an incredibly fulfilling experience, one to look back on with a mixture of emotions, but certainly with a new depth of understanding of the human condition.
